Ghauri Weapon System Successfully Tested In Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan successfully completed a training launch of the Ghauri weapon system on Thursday to assess the operational and technical preparedness of the Army Strategic Forces Command, according to a statement released on Tuesday by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The commander of the Army Strategic Force Command (ASFC), senior officials from the strategic forces, and scientists and engineers from the strategic organization were present for the launch, according to t

he army's media wing.

According to the ISPR, the commander ASFC was pleased with the Army Strategic Forces' level of training and operational readiness, which was evident in their expert use of weapon systems in the field and accomplishment of operational and technical goals.

He also expressed his gratitude to the engineers and scientists for their efforts to strengthen Pakistan's strategic capacity.

The participating soldiers, scientists, and engineers were commended on the smooth execution of the training launch by President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, CJCSC, and services heads.

Pakistan successfully tested the Ababeel Weapon System a week prior to the Ghauri test launch, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The test flight was intended to re-validate numerous design, technical parameters, and performance evaluations of various sub-systems of the weapon system, according to the military's media wing.

Through the operationalization of Full Spectrum Deterrence within the larger framework of Credible Minimum Deterrence, the missile system was designed to boost deterrence and improve strategic stability in the area, according to the statement.
